I do not have anything in my files for the Hoskinson families who were Alice's ancestors, but I do have connections between the Wooldridge family of Coos county and the Benjamin Rufus Sell family. I am aware of one living descendant of Benjamin,  David Sell, who I have included on this e-mail in the event that he knows of the connection to the Hoskinson family.

Subject: [or-roots] Hoskinson Family


I found a "genealogy of One Branch of the Hoskinson Family, descendants of 
George Washington Hoskinson born 1811 in Pennsylvania  among my mother's 
genealogy papers.  It is a heavy cardboard bound mimeographed book of 
185 pages.  This does not appear to be any of my genealogy lines.  It 
was written in 1963 by Alice Hoover Woodridge of Myrtle Point.
 
Family names mentioned include Hoskinson, Bridgman, Collins, Engweiler, 
Hackney, Johnson, Lamb, Laughlin, McElwain, Perdew, Short, Snyder, and 
Vanderflute plus many others.
 
If anyone can lay claim to any of these families, I would be willing to 
give up the book just for the cost of postage.
