Marsha thank you for the offer; I thought I had posted a follow up on this. He is going to most likely show up in an Indiana death index sometime after 1930 as he shows up there in the Census.
I am Thinking that Sue had posted some of that on here, but I might be wrong.

I am having a great time with the new LDS search pages, in combination with them and digitalarcivete in Norway I filled in a bunch of my maternal grandfather's ancestry and found the parish register for his mother's birth. I filled in a few blanks on his sister Gertrude and her daughter, still no luck on Edward's family but thought I would try here closer to home and ran across a family tree for one of the cousins that had been a completely blank except for the husband's name.

I have usually found something for almost everyone I tried except Robert Beger, I may have found him in the 1880 CA census but never found him or family anwhere else to give me any reason to believe. But that is about my only complete failure except for Edward's family.
