Thank you Sue, I figured i would get an answer from you, my email last night was one of those lazy attacks just before bed. I found that Denzel and the really interesting thing is I am pretty sure the guy who posted that is someont I have other information in common with. Usually when I hit that it is the Melvin line, but I will probably have yo hunt real hard to figure this one out since all the ususal supsects didn't show up in the index of the Gerber link.
 
Ken seems to confirm my surmise about Vernon too as he give 1910 for his birth year instead of 09. My brother-in-law here in Reedsport has a friend named Gerber and it would have been a real irony if he was a cousin, but I am pretty sure he is older than me and my second cousins are both younger than me according to my files.
