All the more reason to read more books, not every one had all the names.
Kinda like genealogy, little here, little there.
   But even with so many people in genealogy, none will all be on one place. So as you said things are far from complete.

  I must say the book Pioneers of Oregon appears to be far from complete.

  I think Sandy Flory's website has a more complete list, also I had ancestors 

  that came 1846-1847 -1853 and my Gr. Gr. Grandfather was a Fur Trapper and Mountainman that came in 1829

  His future brothers-in-law were with him Joseph Meek and Robert Newell, and there were many others that

  do not show listed in the Pioneers book.
