I have not used Archives.com so I’m not familiar with their offerings. I do subscribe to GenealogyBank.com and find it is very helpful for Oregon research as it has the Old Oregonian’s available digitally. There are many others also available but it is the Oregonian that is the reason I subscribe.

Subject: [or-roots] Opinions???
Hi everyone,
I am always looking for new Internet resources, as it is more and more expensive to travel. Has anyone used Archives.com? I am specifically wondering if they are a good source for obituaries. They say they charge an annual fee of $40.00. If their collection of resources is large enough, I can afford $40.00/year. I already am signed up for Ancestry.com. If they don't offer more or different source than I already have at Ancestry, then it's not worth it.
Opinions???
Thanks!!!
