[or-roots] Emma Langworthy

Thanks Sue,  I have been through all the asylum research.  I have talked to them on the phone and they are the ones who directed me to the funeral home.  If she died at the asylum there is no record and if her cremains exist they are among the ones with no label.

It was finding the divorce listed in the paper that made me think she might have been released from the hospital after Andrew left the area and she may have remarried or moved away.  I have checked the census under both her married and her maiden (Kellogg) names.

Penny

If Andrew filed for the divorce, that may indicate she was still committed to the asylum.

Have you checked to see if she possibly died at the asylum?  They
had a lot of unclaimed cremains at the new hospital in Salem.

Sue

Thanks to a link someone listed I found many newspaper articles that were very helpful.  However, I now have a problem and need help.
