Try either Alsea or Bay View Precincts. Bot of these seem to cover Walport

Lincoln County was formed from Benton County Possibly that even in1940 the
records
may have gone to Benton County.

In 1940 my family was in Portland but I have no idea what enumeration
district, so that is an impossibility for now. I'll wait until I can search by
name. But, can anyone come up with an answer to this: I was born in
Waldport which had (and still does have) a very small population, easily
searched. I wanted to find my grandfather. So I went to Oregon, Lincoln County and
looked for Waldport under the list of populated places. It isn't there.

Huh. Apparently they didn’t enumerate the following:

Kinzua
Heppner
Between Jacksonville and Medford.

I think I’ll wait! But, on the other hand, I found my greatgrandfather,
widowed, living by himself in Jacksonville. I thought he was living with my
grandparents by that time.

This is really fun. Should take me all year to get it all sorted out!

Working on my third sheet, one Dixonville, one Portland and now in
Roseburg, wish I could figure out how to pick the pages I am doing.
