Ya! Dan I do not remember if there is a genealogy society in La Pine or Paisley, 

Diana Elder in Paisley is on the Board of the Oregon Historic Cemeteries Commission 

and a distant relative and my brother-in-law lives in Crescent, so i am over that way 

at times, but it is a long way from everything.

   I been searching for years when I was in the valley, but now, out here, all I have is you guys to write to for help. Nice being out here on the desert. But kinda lacks resources ;_))

Just a tip when searching the Oregon Historical Records do the first search on just the surname 

a lot of times if you put in the full name it will tell you record not found, but if you use just the surname 

it will come up with a record, I have also found this to be true on other sites as well.
