Some one did.
But (I ) seemed not to connect the Co. F with the stone because the likens
and dreary colors in (my) photo ( was a cheep film camera and it was very
sunny that day) my picture was (is) not as defined as the enhanced photo of
Jessica on our find a grave page. Only then did I notice the first char Was
a C not O. And it was only after the mention of Dan its Co. F not OOF I was
in front of the stone and with all the green growth on it I did not notice.
Jessica did but we never talked about it so I went on assuming it was OOF
lol. Well since its all cleared up I do have the headstone app and civil
papers in the works of being sent to me and some times we need to save oh
foof for people like me who need a dent in the head on occasion. ;)
I thank all for the help. Since we got the obit and proper death date now
we need to decide what Henry b.ny 1830 was ours.
Hope something in those papers tell us.
Go ahead. Do a search in Ancestry for Henry Rogers b 1830 and see how many.
Lol.
