50th Anniversary Celebration – 29 September 2012
Please join us on Saturday, September 29th and help us celebrate our first
50 years from 10 am to 2:30 pm in the EWEB Training Room at 500 East
Fourth Avenue, Eugene, OR. Bring your children, grandchildren, friends,
neighbors, and coworkers and maybe they will catch the genealogy bug. Invite former
members to come reminisce.
We will have display tables with our society scrapbooks, cemetery records,
examples of research, Pioneer & Early Settler Certificates, unidentified
photos, and more.
There will be three mini-classes offered in the morning and afternoon on
Starting Your Family Tree, Which War Was My Ancestor In, and Free Online
Sources for Genealogists. The first session will begin at 10:30 am.
There will be a special presentation at 11:30 am followed by cake, coffee
and lemonade.
Everyone attending may enter the drawing for door prizes. We will be
giving away a seminar admission, 2013 membership, a genealogy book, 161+ Forms
CD, and gift certificates for two hours of research, a two-hour class, and
one-hour “Start Your Family Tree” personal consultation.
Come and visit with us and help us celebrate 50 years of genealogy
research.
