Sally I would appreciate that if it isn't too much trouble. I am guessing cousin Phoebe would be interested in the Erie Canal story, especially since we seem to have some other kin who worked on it too.

Robyn would probably be interested in getting a copy of the whole book from you sometime if she doesn't already have access to it. She has done a lot of work on the Coquille valley. She and I have traded a lot of information and I think I entrusted my letters to grandma that came from a family down that way to her to put in the museum if I remember right.

I have a nice little book about Camas Valley that mentions the families
you were talking about. It tell of Nettie's marriage to Benjamin James
Trowbridge in August 1891 children; Mary--Ronald--and Raymond. It also
has an article about her parents Alston and Nancy-says Alston helped
build the Erie Canal. If you would like scans of the articles let me
know.
