I am a korean Vet also, 1960 era. Not disabled, just old lol.
I have Ancestry world subscrition and also a genealogy website.
Also many ancestry and generations CD,s and other items.
I can give a little time to help others, as others have helped me over the years.
I am also a Us Gen we CC for several Oregon counties.
I know Lane and others bend over backwards to help us all and I will make some effort to show that appriciation in helping where I can.
I also run 36 rootsweb surname and dna groups along with CherokeeGene and I also have many of the rolls on access.
I know a few others out there who do help altho you mostly wont see them add thier names in public, they do pick up the ball here n there, I know because I was also helped in those ways.

Regret at this time I would be unable to volunteer do to my
other volunteer activities as well as facing some surgery in
a few weeks that will lay me up for quite awhile.
Best of luck in this endeavor as I am a partly disabled Veteran
myself (Vietnam 1962).

Hello, as a means of introduction I am a Life Member of the Genealogical Forum of Oregon (M-452). In addition, I am actively involved with the Sons of the American Revolution as their Vice President General for the Pacific District (Alaska, Washington, Oregon).
I am asking for help in publishing a need for volunteer Genealogist with Operation Ancestor Search. This can be anyone who is familiar with Ancestory.com and would like to volunteer a few hours a month helping our disabled veterans with their family research.
Ancestry is providing free access to their website for these disable veterans. Volunteers will assist those veterans who are temporary staying at the VA Medical Center, 1601 E 4th Plain Blvd, Vancouver, Washington while they recuperate.
Anyone expressing an interest can contact me directly at this email address.
I am forwarding an email from D. Joshua Taylor, MA, MLS, President, Federation of Genealogical Societies endorsing Operation Ancestor Search.
