Hi Walt.
Hey, I also have that article, I think I sent it to one of the groups not long ago.
I wish we were not so far away we could make another visit to ya, but we moved the desert down in Lake Co.
There are some people I been writing to related to the Lewis Cooper line, one - Ruth, one Susanna, one the Moon line and some others.
I was told there is a Cooper reunion planned in WA soon. Any one interested can write dmatney at gmail.com I am also having a get together here June 20 there are some people down here interested.
Walt, could you scan that picture you printed for me to my email?
When we moved I lost it, our trailer house was trashed on the freeway by a clever driver.
Any one related, please write me.
I also installed to my website free genealogy tree maker.

Dan Matney- Walter Matney and Julia Cooper.

I own the Lewis L Cooper home off Cooper Hollow Rd. LL Cooper bought the house built in 1871 from his cousin T j F Moon ,who built it, and 80 acres in 1875 he then filed for a DLC the next year on 320 acres. He married the Evens girl who was on the south side of the claim she had 620 acres I still own 4 acres of that DLC. My information came from the Polk County papers.
