[or-roots] Mystery Falk and wrong Thaxton

Been working on Uncle Ernie's siblings again, just because I guess and have a couple of mysteries.
First the Falk thing; according to her Aunt Grace's obit

married a Falk which the following seems to bear out, but I haven't been able to find who he is as he doesn't turn up in Family search and isn't in Washington Digital archives either. I just realized Miriam is Uncle Ernie's niece and not his sister so I have even less reason to pursue this but I have her in my family file so there it is.

Now the Thaxton thing is weirder; My Heritage gave me

Except when I look in WA digital archives her spouse for that date is Melvin L. ??
Marvin is definitely married to an Yvonne when he passes away as I find in his obit, and a woman starting out with one brother and ending up with the other is not unheard of in my family so maybe some one added three and three and got four.
IF I could get archives.com up and running I might find these answers but have a bad cold and too lazy to figure it out.
