[or-roots] Earl Family Descendants 1845

First time to respond to this email.
The father, Joseph, of this Earl family died on the way to Oregon 
Territory in 1845.
the Mother, Margaret (Gibson) Earl, considered by neighbors as the 
country doctor, took a fall from her horse in 1850.
She is buried on the SE corner of Knox butte, Linn County, in the tree 
line but her grave and 2 others did not get markers. This land is in 
Linn county. the 3 graves were on the original DLC of son John Earl. 
John Earl sold his DLC to the Lines family in 1864. I have copies of the 
deeds.
An Earl grandson knew where the graves were in the 1930s but no notes to 
direct to the graves nor to indicate markings.
Current land owner today only was told to watch for graves on their land.
When ODOT, Dean Byrd prepared his cemetery guide books for Oregon, he 
either walked the cemeteries or he saw the cemeteries denoted in land 
records. He did not walk this tiny 3 person cemetery. Linn county 
surveyor can not find the book or notes to match Dean Byrd's find.
That's my short version of this story.
