Have you heard the story about Noti,Oregon. A Siuslaw Indian and A =
white settler were heading from mapleton to Eugene. The Indiahad a =
horse and offered to share the horse. They started out with the Indian =
riding and the white settler running. At the agreed on tie spots the =
rider would tie up the horse and then startwalking. All went well until =
the spot where Noti was later settled. the white settler decided he had =
more right to ride than the siuslaw. When the whiteman reached Eugene he =
stopped at the local bar to drink. The Indian continued walking from =
Noti to Eugene. When he arrived at the bar He came in and informed the =
crowd, "Him no tie." The white man was arrested. And noone was allowed =
to forget his mistake.

Northwest history is something I am really into as a lot of it involves =
family on my Father's side.
Sure be glad when I can retire in September then I can go do what =
I want.
