my own research, I find that there were at least two BLANCHARD groups on
the Oregon Trail in 1851. The following folks are documented to have
been on the Trail that year, but I don't know how they are connected, if
they are, indeed, related.
1851: JOSHUA & REBECCA; SAMUEL; LUCENDA (Mrs.); ROBERT J.
I also find that in 1847 HYPOLITE BLANCHARD made the trek.
Thanks in advance for any offers to help, and I offer my own research on
the 1851 migration to those who have connections to that particular
year.
