The presence of Thomas in her household in Deer Creek, Oregon convinces me
that the Census;

Notes for Julian DeLannay:
As of 4/13/2001 I have three spellings for her name; Julean DeLaunay from
Mary Seymour funeral home notes, Julian ? Seymour from headstone, Julian
DeLannay from Frank's death cert.

I have a lot of questions on this line, don't know if Julian's parents came
to Oregon, as you can see, I don't even know how to spell her name, Have no
proof of where Godfrey was born, or even what his parents names actually
were, but doubt I will ever know.

This is another one of those proofs of my addiction to genealogy, I can
justify chasing Aunt Mildred's parents [French] because there is a very real
expectation that I will be able to someday hook her line into my mother's,
but chasing Laverne's wife's line is a little ridiculous.
I really don't NEED to know much more about these folks, though if someone
filled in some of the missing facts on this page I wouldn't complain.
I do have some ancestors for these lines, though some of them I don't have
much more than the names listed above, I do have a lot more on the Melvin
Line,
anyone you see here whose parents aren't mentioned, I do not have them.
You will also notice some conspicuous absences, my father's family didn't
arrive until 1902 and my mother's father I know about all I ever will unless
somebody can find a record of people that jumped ship in California in the
19th century, or can find the ships log of the ship he was on when he
jumped, there is one document I would pay significant money for if it has
the information I wanted, but it would have to include a port call to
Calcutta India and Liverpool England. I don't want much!
I hope someone sees something of interest here.
