Well, I apologize for not having given the information I knew at the beginning. I keep
forgetting how much the people on this list love to research. Here is what I was given
by my friend -- who knows nothing about research, computer or otherwise:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"My friend's name is FRANK JOSEPH GWODZ. (I'm not certain but I think Joseph is his middle name). He and wife Denise lived in Wasilla, Alaska. We exchanged Christmas cards for years and e-mails too. The Christmas card for 2005 was returned as undeliverable -no forwarding . Not sure of the card for 2004 card, I don't have a note anywhere.
Sure appreciate your help in finding out if he has passed away."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, is that an unusual name to research or what?
I did find a directory listing for Frank and Denise in 2002 in Wasilla. But, all that tells
us is that he was living at that time -- and we knew that.
I searched the Social Security Death Index for GWODZ, Frank J. (only); but did not
get creative; and came up with nothing.
I'd love to be able to tell my friend that I found him. But, in reality, I'd like it just as much to let her know what a great bunch of researchers we have on the Or-Roots list.
Thank you to all who responded to my plea.
