Years ago, my mother told me of visiting a "funny little cemetery" where she was shown four little graves each marked with a cross. She was told these were her half-brothers who all died in infancy by her father's first wife. These would have occurred ca. 1897-1902 in greater Salem area. Last name is PHELPS. Should anyone come across anything fitting this description in old Oregon records or cemeteries I would love to know about it.

Since I don’t know what Patricia Carson photographed, this is just a wag.
Miller Cemetery, Cascade Hwy and Abiqua Rd NE. Earliest markers 1852. There are trees surrounding the plots, but the cemetery itself is more open than Eugene.

Since Patrica Carson who did a great deal of photographing many cemeteries in Polk and Marion counties plus some in Lincoln, Linn and Tillamook counties passed away last year without family notifying me.
I have an unusual request from a certain filmmaker who has been a graduate of Oregon School for the Deaf.
The request is for old cemeteries within a 30 miles radius of Salem, Oregon.
The cemetery needs to be similar to the Eugene Pioneer Cemetery in Eugene, has to be older type of cemetery with weathered gravestones and full growth trees, probably dating back to mid-1800s.
The filming will be about OSD's unexpected track state champions.
Filming production is to begin in April.
The filmmaker is living in California with wife and a son.
Appreciate a very quick reply.
