Greenville, Hunt County, TexasDeath ???? 3 Apr 1996 (aged 60) ????Marion County, OregonBurial ???? City View Cemetery, Salem, Marion Co., Oregon actually I have several questions; He is listed variously as Ulis, Eugene, Ulies, Ulvus, Ulyus and Ulie if I remeber all of them. His father seems to have the middle name Ugene though that too is sometimes different so I would like to find some actual document to rely on as the closest thing to an original source for Ray I have is his gravestone.? He is one of sixteen children and given he is not actually kin I shouldn't be fussing over him so much, but that is the way I am. the other questions are what town in Marion county, presumably Salem, what was his wife's maiden name and what happened to her as so far I have had no luck with her. Interesting family, the direct link to my kin is ry's brother Harold Wayne for whom all rrecords indicate he was born on the twentieth, except his texas birth certificate which has him born on the fourth and the twentieth of the month is clearly fiction as his birth certificate is recorded on the fifth and I am fairly confident there were not two Acy Jolly's married to Bessie Perkins having childrren in Hunt CO., Texas in May of 1928. As far as I can determine only two of teh sixteen children had their births in the official records. Anyway my best hope is someone can find an obituary for ray or Ulius or whatever. One of these days I might make it to Knight Library to do some searchign, but this probably won't be a priority. Les Chapman -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
