the Fordyce, Blake and Mark/Marke families of Jackson, County. Asa Fordyce 

arrived in Ashland in 1853 with his family & settled just east of town. 

Christian F. Blake & John Mark/Marke married into the Fordyce family. If 

anyone has connections with these families I'd love to hear from you. I look
