I am looking for any historical information about the Mitchell Cemetery in Wheeler County, Oregon.<BR>

It seems the Wheeler's married into both of my Maternal Grandparents lineages..<BR>

I was wondering about how the Mitchell Cemetery got its name, because there are Mitchells married my great grandaunts in Southern California...they were refered to as the Lindsey sisters...they married two Mitchell brothers...<BR>

then my great grandaunt from Mendocino County California, Leona Southard-Wheeler, she married a George Wheeler...then there was another Southard-Wheeler marriage..so I don't know...<BR>

Could anyone tell me anything about the Sweeney family of Grants Pass, OR or Siskiyou County California, and adopting illegally a child, 57 years ago?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.<BR>
