I have some connections to Davidsons..the were neighbors of my great grandparents in Mendocino County, California, and there is an Elijah Davidson whom discovered the Oregon Caves by following his dog whom was chasing a deer into a cave...then you get the discovery of the caves..near Cave Junction, Oregon going towards the coast in the Siskiyou Mountains of the Oregon-California border.<BR>

I believe this same Elijah Davidson went to Mendocino County California to live and buy property...<BR>
