Dear Listers,

 

The Oregon State Archives has recently accessioned the original statewide marriage returns from the vital Records office in Portland.  In preparing the records for microfilming and indexing the volunteers have encountered numerous returns with incomplete dates or difficult to read hand writing.  The existing index is often no help particularly when it comes to  dates.  I am hoping some folks "out in the field" might be willing to help by checking the marriage records in the local courthouse.

 

The three marriages are:

All appear to have occurred some time between October and November 1910.

 

Orson Olson(sp?) to Grace McCoy

Robert E. Morris to Sarah R Boydstun

Frederic Harry Snyder to Ella Ballard
