Anne Comer wrote recently that she was looking for more information on her Arnold family of Thomas Arnold born about 1776 and Margaret Noel Arnold born about 1782 in VA. I also have Thomas, Margarets and Isaac Arnolds in my family tree but nothing that seems to match up 100 % with hers.

My Thomas Arnold was born about 1645 in Virginia and married Grace Doyle. They had a family of 4 children and one of them was Isaac Arnold born about 1685 in Old Rappahannock Co. Va. and Married Margaret Goffe in 1707. He also later married a Mary. From this union they had 9 children, and one of them was an Isaac who married Sarah Morton. This Isaac Junior was born about 1708 in King George Va.

When looking for Arnold stuff online go to Google. com and search. You will be amazed at what you can find. There is more stuff being put online all the time. Good luck on your research. It is a blast to find things and just to do the research. I enjoy reading all the research stuff on this list. It has given me lots more tips and ideas for research than the contributers will ever know.

Oh, my Grt. grt. grandfather, Thomas L. Arnold came to Malheur Co. Oregon in 1882 and settled at the Agency ranch which had just been taken out of an Indian Reservation. My Grt. Grandfather , Thomas F. came on to Harney County Oregon and our family has been here since.
