This "Blue" mystery is a puzzle to me too. There was an artist in Portland
named Bob Blue, who was a friend of my sculptor husband. And then there
is historian Lucy Blue in Lincoln County, who I cannot find out one tiny
weeny thing about. Help!

(Hughes) Bowen. The wagon train arrived in the Rogue River Valley of Southern
Oregon August 31, 1853 and settled a DLC claim 10 Oct. 1853 on the foothills
of skinner's Butte eight miles east of Jacksonville.</font> <font face="Arial">Amos
Blue married Maryum's sister Sarah Elizabeth Bowen-Smith.</font><font face="Arial">He
had a BLM land claim next to the Bowen and the McKee families.</font> <font face="Arial">Merry
