Houses and apartments and a big new church (not to mention the new
freeway offramp).  What side of Sandy did you live on?  One of my best
friends family had a nursery (plants and stuff) on Sandy and Osburn.
They sold produce out of a stand on the highway.  I remember the
Schmidt's nursery too, but I don't know what happened to it.  Maybe we
should get Doneva back on the list.  Her family farmed at Sandy and
Birdsdale after the Vanport flood.
