Librarians can...actualy no. I can do more since they don't do book
repair, shelving, processing, etc., and only deal with patrons when they HAVE
to. (Most reference Librarians are like that also. I just dealt with
one at the Oregon Archives yesterday...nice enough I suppose, but too
stiff.) I think what head Librarians do now is decide what books
& magazines to purchase, the budget, tell the underlings what to do, and go
to meetings. Gee...sounds like a Principle of a school.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Sorry, guys--I just get on my box when I look at
all the jobs I can do, but because of my parents health and raising a family and
10 year span of no work--I am unable to find any employer willing to bring me up
to speed. GO back to school you say? Hey, I would in a minute but it
requires money for classes. Gee---money = education = job = money.
