you talking about the user interface (screen)? Because I never heard of
any database of this type where "nicknames" or whatever, didn't require a

actually use The Master Genealogist (TMG) now, and really like it a lot for
research details. Of course, I am on a steeeep learning curve right now
<G>. HOWEVER, it has so much detail that it is really difficult to gedcom.

version 11 of FTM and buy a subscription. You will get much more out
