My father, Emerson Merrick, used to eat there on occasion though normally without my mother and me. At that time Dell's had 4 stools inside and the counter at the sidewalk. Dad ran the auto court on the east side of Riverside so it was easy access. Other places to eat what we now call fast food were the Roxy Ann Fountain on Central between Main and 6th, and the soda fountain in the pharmacy on the corner of Main and Riverside. Many, many changes to the town now but I left in 1948 for college so to me it is frozen in time. When I was in junior high there was a spudnut shop between Riverside and the bridge on Main too.
I am always willing to reminisce
