<DIV>Marilyn McCallum asked a question about how to find the grave of her father who died in Portland. She gave his name and date of death. Judging from her e-mail address, she lives in out of state. Instead of the help she requested we are once again treated to a sarcastic response from Mr. Davies. This type of childish put-down is tiresome, and is wholly disrespectful to the individual asking the question. It may also explain why so few people actually post to this list; ridicule is a powerful weapon.</DIV>

<DIV>I would suggest that Ms. McCallum go to the Oregonian newspaper archives and find her father's obituary/death notice to find the name of the mortuary handling his remains, and from them obtain the name of the cemetery where he is buried. Probably the quickest way to get the information she needs.</DIV>
