<DIV><FONT face=Arial>My late brother Doug (1938-1997) and I watched that
RR bridge being built across HWY 20 just east of Foster. I don't remember
the year, but it was before 1948; that was the year we moved to Long St., and
away from the Shea property.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>HWY 20 back then didn't have the traffic it has today, and
who would have thought that 2 lanes under that bridge would NOT be enough.
I sure didn't. And I was only 7 or 8 years old at the time.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>I remember the day Doug and I found a tire
carcass near that bridge. We knew that it was a "pre-war" tire
because of it's rubber composition. I don't know that I could do that
today, but I sure could do it then.</FONT></DIV>
