<DIV>There are several unmarked graves and several whose markings are not
readable. Many of the burials are related by birth or by marriage, but
some are people who lived in the area for many years and are not
related. This cemetery is located near Tiller on the ranch that for many
years was owned by Vernon B. "Vernie" Lerwill and his wife, Alice.
Vernie Lerwill was the son of "Rosie" Rondeau. Locally it was most
commonly known as "Boot Hill", "Lerwill Cemetery", or "Tiller Cemetery".</DIV>
