Yes, Wasco Co. OR., Abraham McCubbins brother to James and came same year to Oregon 1852. Also: Wallowa Co., OR.>> The Lostine Cemetery, also known as The McCubbins Cemetery on, Jim town road. I have searched high and low for the closest living McCubbins to James who live and died 1877, Salem, Or. & Linn Co. The only living McCubbins I know are my family up in Dayton, Columbia Co., WA. That is where my mother & grandfather were born. James McCubbins 3 sons lived in Columbia Co., WA and are buried in the Dayton Cem. But none of the living McCubbins or descendants there knows anything and One descendant even has the McCubbins Bible, and there is no record in it about James. The thing is, there are not very many McCubbins descendants to help, most have passed away. So the search is on...

Thanks for your help. maybe a McCubbins or Leabo descendant will see our messages and answer them.
