<DIV>Delores, I don't know of a connection between your Hawley family and mine,
but I confess that I know less about the Hawley family than any other of my
family lines. When I began doing genealogy more than twenty years ago, I
thought that the Hawley line would be a breeze because there was a strong,
active Hawley Family Association based in New York. Unfortunately, there
were a number of Cyrus Hawleys...and even several Cyrus B. and Cyrus Benjamin
Hawleys. I corresponded with the head of the Hawley Family Association for
several years and she was as interested as I was in linking my anscestor with
the family lines that were documented. We were never able to do it, and I
eventually went on to other more "research-friendly" family lines. In the
past few years I've been working to flesh out the Hawley family lines but so far
have not been able to determine Cyrus' father or sibs.</DIV>

<DIV>I would think if there is a connection between your family and mine, it
would have to be a collateral line. I'll make a note of your information
as I research this family.</DIV>
