I have these two
families apparently in Oregon around 1860 and cannot find hide nor hair of
either of them, I have searched based solely on place of birth, to hopefully
rule out surname variation. Of course maybe they report different places of
birth in different Censuses? I have tried several other tacks, and googled
them to no avail. JAJ is particularly frustrating as I am sure he must have
been in Oregon in 1860, I believe I have even eliminated the possibility
that they still hadn't come west by then and still no luck?

Les Chapman khanjehgil@presys.com

James;

.
