<DIV>Some records for Damascus are online, one big problem with Damascus is many 

of the grave markers were small galvanisied tin and over the years have all 

rusted away, in fact this is a problem in many older cemeteries also many older 

cemeteries have had the stone markers vandalized.</DIV>
