Quite often whoever answers the questions to the census
takers seem to give incorrect information and I think that is probably what
happened with this one that shows birthplace as California. In the 1900
Henry was listed as born in Oregon and Ida was listed as born in KY. Then
in 1910 they are both listed as California, this is probably
inaccurate.

Char, you may want to get copy of Ida Baker's death

that it is the right one. Also getting Louise Lennox' death certificate
would probably provide helpful information.

I'm uncertain if my reply went out to you.
Sorry for the repeat if it did. Loleta Sybil Baker is my
gmother. In 1915 she was the Rose Parade Queen and any information I've
started to locate on her has started from names of family that I found in the
newspaper coverage of the Rose Festival. One article mentioned Del Baker
coming for the parade. At that time he was the coach for the Detroit
Tigers Baseball Team. I have quite a bit of information on him through
the Baseball Library.
