maintain the web site and would love to get information about the past queens

Weston that have photos of the queens that go back many years. It draws a
lot of attention from locals and visitors. The neat thing is that they try
to make sure that a different community is represented each each from within
Umatilla County. Even though Weston continues to sponsor the Umatilla
County Pioneer Days (it used to travel around the county) they make sure that it
isn't a "Weston" celebration.</STRONG></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV>You might have known my other g-aunt, Della Styfford. She died a few
years back. She lived right across this little creek from
Elnora. I remember being little and walking across the creek on a board
from one house to the other. </DIV>

<DIV>I wish I was closer so I could go to some of those events.
My grandma Vi Diggins was a Umatilla Co pioneer queen one
year. Each year they invite all the past queens for the celebrations
and to crown the new one. </DIV>
