<DIV>This is probably old news to most of you, but several months ago I
"discovered" the Southern Oregon Digital Archives and found it to be a helpful
site. It is also in Adobe PDF format and somewhat tedious to read.
The site also has a quirk that seems to time you out and lock you out
occasionally with the requirement that you sign in as a registered user.
I've never troubled to investigate the requirements for becoming a registered
user. If I'm booted out of the site before I'm done, I go back to Google
and enter through a link on that page without any problem. The link for
