adoptions of children in the period of 1916 to about 1919? I am looking
for a sister of my mother who was most likely put up for adoption when her

<P><FONT size=2>Where? There were adoptions (legal) at that time, but (a)
not everywhere, and (b) not always, especially if the child went to a
