1998, in Parklane Christian Reformed Church for John Gerrit
<B>Branderhorst</B>, who died Nov. 6 at age 81.<BR><BR>Mr. <B>Branderhorst</B>
was born Feb. 27, 1917, in the Netherlands. He moved to Portland in 1961 and
had owned Columbia Transmission since 1968. He was a member of the church. In
1942, he married Trudy.</P>
<DIV class=text lang=en>Survivors include his wife; sons, Frank, Garrett and
Casey, all of Portland, Herman of Clackamas, Everett of Redland, Peter of St.
Helens and Johan of Tigard; daughters, Gerry Schlegel of Clackamas, Evera
Brenner of Redmond, Hilde Frey of Tualatin, Trudy <B>Branderhorst</B> of
Anchorage, Alaska, Sonja Heard of Gresham and Menora Kinsfather of Portland;
25 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.<BR><BR>Private interment will
be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. The family suggests remembrances to the
American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Riverview Abbey Funeral
Home.</DIV>
