<HTML><FONT FACE=arial,helvetica><HTML><FONT SIZE=2 PTSIZE=10 FAMILY="SANSSERIF" FACE="Arial" LANG="0">We followed the Columbus Day storm as it blew in and came up the valleys from Southern Oregon on. My uncle in Goshen lost most of the trees in his 48 acre apple orchard and then we listened to the news as the wind came on north, hitting Seattle about 8-9 pm after we had the children in bed. It lasted here about 2 hours before heading on, but managed to take roof shingles off and distributed them around the neighborhood. What a storm.<BR>
