But the 1852 roll was rolled completely backwards (librarian had to
fix) & when I was rolling along first in 1853 then 1852 then 1853
& so on. I got that part figured out now I think. The 1877 microfilm
was in perfect order though. </FONT></DIV>

my ggg-Grandfather's death Sept. 6, 1877 & look at Sept, 7, 8, 9,

is not in there. I search way ahead & far ahead. I will
be making many trips to the library & search again..Yes, I need to
learn how to go about finding where the Obits (pages) are then it might
work better for me. practice practice practice </FONT></DIV>

I went to the Library this am & searched & searched &

want, but does any one have a clue on how to approach / search
better in these reels of microfilm as I have 6 to go through
& the library keeps them on hand for 2 weeks. What I'm
desperately still trying to find is hopefully & it's a long
shot, an Obit. on my ggg-Grandfather James McCubbins who died
Sept. 6, 1877 North Salem, Marion Co., OR. Searching for
Obit & his grave & getting no where fast. I think in all
the searching I did this am I only found one Obit for someone
else.</FONT></DIV>
