These are my moved-to-Oregon lines:<b><br>

<br>

Gerking / Gerkin</b>, arrived from Missouri in 1862 and lived first in

Silverton, Marion Co. before moving to the Umatilla Co. area. They knew

Nancy's McCubbins family.<span class="moz-smiley-s1"><span> :-) </span></span><br>

<br>

James and Rebecca Jane (Mathew) <b>Smith</b> family, arrived from

Marion Co., Iowa in 1864 and lived in Summerville and Athena, Union Co.<br>

<br>

<b>Vonada / Vonado</b>, various arrival times and states, but mostly

from Pennsylvania, Kansas, and Montana. The lived mostly in the

Portland area and Willamette Valley.<br>

<br>

<b>Karstetter / Carstetter / Kerstetter</b>, by 1900 census, from

Pennsylvania, living in Silverton. Others of the family followed and

lived in Portland and Odell, Hood River Co.<br>

<br>

<b>Whiting</b>, in Oregon from Clinton Co., Pennsylvania by the 1910

federal

census, living in Odell, Hood River Co. with a group of other Clinton

Co. emigrees.<br>

<br>

<b>Perry</b>, born in Indiana and arrived in 1901 from Kansas and lived

in Hood River Co.<br>

<br>

<b>Hengst</b>, born in Pennsylvania and moved from Kansas (not sure

what year), lived in Hood River Co.<br>

<br>
