<DIV>I am interested in dna testing for genealogy. Exactly what does a male descendant test generate in the way of information that a female descendant test does not? I understand that it is maternal line for females but if I am tested do I get dna information on my father's mother? Or only my mother's mother? Thanks for any enlightenment offered.
