subject. Of the eight children she gave birth to, only 1 was born in a
hospital and that was in 1951. My aunt was born in the middle of a bridge

telling the truth too, but my cousin is so stubborn and she doesn’t remember
how different things were even back in the 50s. I lived in a small town
and we didn’t have supermarkets. A store was just a small room that had
a counter that a man stood behind and the shelves with the food on them were
also behind the counter. You would hand him a list and he would pull
your groceries and you either paid with money or he would write it down in a
book and bill you later. She doesn’t believe me, but I remember going to
that store for my mom to get a loaf of bread many many
times.</SPAN></FONT></P>

said she gave birth in a store, I would be inclined to believe her. You
never know when the childbirth is coming, and it may have come to quickly for
her to even be able to get to doctor/hospital/home which ever place they
delivered back then. My dad was born at home on a farm in Friend Oregon
in 1920.<BR>With my situation, however, they took their beloved time getting
