<DIV> The Matheny family is a huge one
because Daniel Matteneye married Sarah Wentworth abt. 1663
in Maryland. Both came over from England a few years before.
The name has been spelled several different ways over the years and they have
spread all over the country most of them were pioneers and moved west with the
flow of immigration. </DIV>
