<DIV>Well, I apologize for not having given the information I knew at the
beginning. I keep</DIV>
<DIV>forgetting how much the people on this list love to research. Here is what
I was given</DIV>
<DIV>by my friend -- who knows nothing about research, computer or
otherwise:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</DIV>
<DIV>"My friend's name is FRANK JOSEPH GWODZ. (I'm not certain but I think
Joseph is his middle name). He and wife Denise lived in Wasilla,
Alaska. We exchanged Christmas cards for years and e-mails too. The
Christmas card for 2005 was returned as undeliverable -no forwarding . Not sure
of the card for 2004 card, I don't have a note anywhere.
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Sure appreciate your help in finding out if he has passed away."</DIV>
<DIV>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Now, is that an unusual name to research or what?</DIV>
<DIV>I did find a directory listing for Frank and Denise in 2002 in Wasilla.
But, all that tells</DIV>
<DIV>us is that he was living at that time -- and we knew that.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I searched the Social Security Death Index for GWODZ, Frank J. (only); but
did not</DIV>
<DIV>get creative; and came up with nothing.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I'd love to be able to tell my friend that I found him. But, in
reality, I'd like it just as much to let her know what a great bunch of
researchers we have on the Or-Roots list.</DIV>
<DIV>Thank you to all who responded to my plea. </DIV>
